These credentials combined with pedagogical and motivational techniques (Guided Discovery) enable her to work with Health Professionals in Georgetown, DC, Alexandria, and Falls Church, VA as an Ayurvedic Consultant and Health Coach.
Lenore is a physicist and tenured professor who has won National Awards in Research and Teaching from the National Science Foundation, the Presidential Faculty Fellowship Award, endorsed by the President of the United States. Her love of teaching and a life devoted to health and wellness has culminated with a certification to practice as an Ayurvedic Consultant and to teach Perfect Health. These credentials are complimented by an NSPA Personal Training Certification, and Star 2, Mad Dogg Indoor Spin Certification (aerobic and anaerobic training).
As a research scientist Lenore is very involved in the relationship of Ayurvedic principles and the Laws of Physics, e.g. Quantum Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and Electromagnetism. Her ACT (Ayurvedic Consultant Training) thesis addressed how we might use this knowledge to promote longevity. Her insights as a scientist complement her diagnostic skills. She is presently an Ayurvedic Consultant and Life Style/Health Coach practicing in the Metro DC and Northern Virginia area. Her practice includes yoga poses, pranayama and Ayurveda to detoxify, tone, and balance chakras and doshas. She also teaches indoor spinning and "Spiritual Yoga" at local health clubs and privately.
