hitney was first introduced to Ayurveda during her yoga teacher training in 2007, and she had an immediate connection to this intuitive way of healing.  Her first real experience with Ayurveda was with doing an Ayurvedic cleanse with her yoga teacher in college.  The experience was challenging, but profound, and it sparked an interest in the subject.  From there, Whitney proceeded to do a yearlong Ayurvedic Living teleconference course, which taught how to incorporate Ayurvedic techniques in to a modern lifestyle to promote balance and well-being. After completing the course, Whitney decided that she wanted to share this incredible wisdom tradition with others, so she applied and was accepted in to the Kripalu School of Ayurveda.  She completed her training both as an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant, and as an Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist in the spring of 2011.  Additionally, she trained at Kripalu in a number of different Ayurvedic bodywork techniques.  At present she offers Ayurvedic lifestyle consultations and Ayurvedic bodywork.  Sessions include diet and lifestyle recommendations, yoga, bodywork, and herbal remedies.
